Zora has been described as an indigo since childhood, making her life always haunted and targeted by supernatural beings. Alongside her younger sibling, who is also an indigo, they strive to overcome their fear of these unseen attacks.
On Halloween eve, local outcast, Jacob Atkins, is carelessly murdered. A vagabond carnie named Dr. Death, takes matters into his own hands, bringing Jacob back from the dead to creatively seek brutal revenge on his killers.
In the 1930s a horror-comic artist's creations come alive and kill him. Years later a new cartoonist revives the creatures in his house, now part of an artist's colony.
